When accidents happened, people always suffered in emotions such as panic, which is difficult to avoid even for trained and experienced personnel. Especially facing first aid situation while in outdoor environments which is difficult to seek help. P.F.A.K is a special first aid kit that streamlined for outdoor first aid.
DESIGN BACKGROUND
According to the data, while mountaineering, climbers are tend to slipping and falling due to the wet and slippery ridge, resulting in the number of falls to injury is the second highest in the total number of mountain accidents,as high as 37.5%, and the number of deaths due to falls is as high as 17.5% of the number of mountain accidents. These situation may cause the injury such as bleeding, fracture, trauma.
DESIGN CONCEPT
Utilize the intuitive and visual ICON with simple text marks could guide the user to perform treatment for the injured or themselves, so that the user who lack of first aid knowledge could follow the guided process to perform first aid within the golden rescue time.
